CiboloWatch exists so any resident can find out what is changing in Cibolo and Schertz. That includes residents who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, or magnification.

What we aim for

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That is the target we measure against, not a certification. Parts of the site will fall short at times, and we would rather say so plainly than claim otherwise.

What is in place

The map

The corridor map is a visual aid, not the only way to read an update. Every item in it also appears in the update list below it with its location named in words, so no information exists only inside the map.

Known limitations

Some documents we link to are hosted by the City of Cibolo, the City of Schertz, Guadalupe County, TxDOT and other public bodies. Those files are outside our control and some are scanned PDFs that a screen reader cannot read. Where that happens, ask us and we will summarise the record for you in plain text.

Tell us if something blocks you

If any part of this site stops you from getting information you need, use the CiboloWatch team contact form. Say which page and what happened. We will reply, and where we can we will give you the information directly while we fix the underlying problem.
